Terms & Conditions
Bristol Hive Netball Terms and Conditions, please read carefully to ensure you understand and agree to them, please also note some of these are more relevant for our Junior term sessions and some are just for our adult sessions.
- Your place on a term of sessions or individual sessions (adults) will not be guaranteed until a full payment has been made. All fees must be paid a week prior to the first session, failure to do so will result in your place being offered to someone on the waiting list and we may not be able to accommodate you in the sessions.
- For our junior term sessions should you change your mind about joining after you have paid your fees, you are able to request a refund for any remaining session of your booking, however we require 14 days notice and there will be an administration fee and transaction fee. Individuals will need to email bristolhive@outlook.com to request a refund.
- For adult sessions we are unable to offer a refund but will do our best to transfer you to a different session if there are reasonable reasons for your request. You will need to email Bristolhive@outlook.com at least 24 hours prior to the session with the reason for this to be considered.
- If you (adult sessions) or your child is ill, you are on holiday or unable to attend a session, no refund will be given as bookings are made on a termly basis.
- If at any time a session is cancelled due to adverse weather or leader/coach illness we will look to first offer an alternative session, if not we will offer a free session for the following term and if this is not available will then offer a refund for the session that has been impacted. Our netball session take place outdoors and will continue if it is raining so please ensure you and/or children wear appropriate clothing, footwear and waterproof jackets as required and hats and gloves in winter months.
- We are unable to offer a refund to customers if facilities are open but due to adverse weather condition you are unable to attend the session this is due to the fact Bristol Hive will still be charged for the facility booking.
- If at any time we have to cancel a whole programme you will be offered a suitable alternative if available. If this is not possible you will be able to cancel and receive a full refund.
- As a registered club with England Netball, Bristol Hive has insurance for public liability. If however you require personal insurance for you or your child it will be the individual adult and/or parents/guardians responsibility to ensure they have England Netball membership. The club will share these details with all parents and carers but Bristol Hive netball can not be held responsible for any act, omission, loss of damage unless proven to be caused by negligence.
- All participants are expected to take responsibility for their respective personal property. Jewellery and similar items must not be worn and the participant will not be permitted to take part until it is removed for the safety of themselves and others. The only exception will be for medical reasons.
- A full risk assessment will be carried our prior each session. There will always be an appointed first aider on site, first aid will be administered as required and emergency services called as required. No medication can be administered by Bristol hive personnel.
- Bristol Hive and England Netball will take photos during sessions to be used for publicity and on social media. If you do not want yourself and/or your child to be included please ensure this is confirmed in your booking and you speak to leaders/coaches so we can ensure this does not happen.
- We require all coaches/leaders, parents and players to abide by the England Netball and Bristol Hive code of conduct and club philosophy. Appropriate action will be taken if this is not followed. Please refer to our club policies.
- Bristol Hive operates a zero tolerance policy to discrimination or bullying. We hold the right to remove any players or parents/guardians from a programme and / or the court if they are found to be in breech of our relevant policies.
- Every participant involved in Bristol Hive sessions are entitled to equal access of opportunity. Please refer to the England Netball equity, diversity and inclusion policy for more information.
